Lainie came to CHS in 2005, originally in the role of Domestic Violence Educator, then took over as Hearing Loss Link Coordinator from 2006-2008. At that point, she and CHS parted ways, temporarily as it turns out, and she began her journey to becoming an interpreter. Lainie worked as a freelance interpreter until 2018, when she began working at Harper College as a staff interpreter. She and CHS happily reunited in Spring 2019 as a member of the after-hours interpreter coordinating team. When she’s not interpreting or coordinating, she’s teaching or practicing yoga and momming to her two babies and one 3-legged dog.
